Strona is a San Francisco, peer-based professional
SM/Fetish mentor and trainer focused on improving sexual expression
in all forms.
He also maintains a career as the HIV Prevention Coordinator for
Walden House Inc. in San Francisco, where he primarily counsels
men who have engaged in some form of man-to man-sex, be it in prison
or in regular society.
As an educator and presenter, Frank speaks on a diverse and sexually
positive range of topics to encourage self-expression, exploration
and knowledge. With a strong background in HIV/STD Harm Reduction
and a sexually adventurous player himself, he contracts with state
and federal agencies seeking to reach hard to access populations,
and shares his knowledge, insight, and tricks of the trade with
men and women across the country
Frank's past achievements include stints as Coordinating Editor
for Boston's Gay Community News, Associate Publisher for Bear and
Powerplay Magazines, Director of Marketing for Drummer Magazine
and Desmodus Publications, and as a national Sex Educator/Lecturer
for the Harvey Milk Institute and the Learning Annex.
Frank has been featured in workshops at Black Rose, San Diego's
Leatherfest, Las Vegas' Get Whipped, Atlanta's SM in the South,
and the past three years at Denver's own Thunder in the Mountains.
He has also presented to Gay Fathers, Aids Action Committee, TES,
GMSMA, and the Marin Aids Project. Frank has been nominated for
numerous public service awards.
Frank has dedicated his life to mentoring men and women in topics
like intimacy, breaking taboos and fear, boundaries, communication,
fetishes, dating, sex parties, and monogamy, and is highly respected
around the country as a consummate teacher.
