1. ADVENTURE REPORT
Dear Readers!
Where does the time go? I can’t believe it’s been two months since the last newsletter. Well, you know my favorite saying by Mae West. “Good Girls keep diaries, Bad Girls don’t have the time to!”
Here’s a quick snap shot of what I’ve been up to.

SHOOTING WITH KEN MARCUS
I spent a really fun week in LA rigging amazingly hot women at Ken Marcus’ posh studio on Melrose. You might recognize him as the guy who shot sexy women for the cover of Penthouse and Playboys for nearly three decades.
He’s got this huge compound of a full erotic photo studio and lush bachelor pad. Once in a while he’ll invite me to come down for several days, puts a call out and bondage loving women show up to be tied up by me and shot by Ken.
I thought I had it good, Ken’s got a really sweet life! Emily Marilyn, Anastasia, Darling, Claire Adams and Jelena were my sweet victims.
The riggings I got to do were so hot that I was buzzing from it for days. In particular, one I got to do with Darling stands out. Ken had a steel cage, within which I suspended her and then suspended that whole cage!

During my stay in LA, even with the intense shoot schedule, I did get to go to an amazing dinner with Doc and a bunch of our mutual friends for his birthday. A very debauched and mixed group of pervs, major Hollywood types, leathermen, performer freaks gathered in a private dining room at Restaurant Halie in Pasadena.
For obvious reasons I can’t tell you who all gathered to break bread, drink wine and tell lurid tales. The place used to be Einstein’s lab during World War II and is said to have a secret tunnel to campus built in for his security.

The weekend after LA, KB and I tried to go take our first hang gliding lessons, but the weather was bad so it was called off. After my motorcycle accident last year, for some reason, I’ve been really wanting to do this.
I think I want to have the experience of flying intentionally without the crash landing or asphalt burn.
My schedules pretty packed between now and June so I’m not sure when I’m going to get to go back to the flight zone but I hope it’s sooner then later. In the mean time, I need to try to take the motorcycle out to the parking lot and try to get over the accident.
I returned on another stealth trip to LA to shoot a video. I’m sorry I couldn’t tell you guys about this in advance but that was the director’s request. I got to do my first shoot as a sexpert for Sinclair Intimacy Institute’s Better Sex video series.

Then I was off to South Plains. That was a great event. It’s a mixed gender queer event with load of good people and classes.
I got to have back-to-back totally hot scenes with Sfn and KB’s boy, Min the Bunnyboy. It was silly, sexy, sadistic and just wickedly fun. Thanks, guys!

Ah, then March came in like a lion and I had the most glorious three weeks in Australia. God, where do I even start with that trip?
It was just so cool to get to be in the Sydney Mardi Gras parade with the Sydney Leather Pride contingency. What a sexy bunch of pervs!
They were so nice they let me ride in a white chariot pulled by four gorgeous leathermen.
The Sydney Mardi Gras is Australia’s huge Pride Parade. It’s held at night with amazing lighting and everything. After that the whole city turn out to party until well in to the next after noon with an all night multi venue dance freak fest. The laser light show nightclub alone has like 2000 people in it. The Aussies really know how to party.

To recover after Mardi Gras, sweetie-pie Aleini took me to the Korean Ginseng Baths. That was a much needed spa visit as the meat of the tour, a three-city kink fest was about to start.
I taught really fun classes in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. That interrogation scene was crazy and the demo scene with the tarantula was exciting.
My deepest thanks to Mark of DV8 House who made this whole tour happen.
The best part was making all these really cool friends, starting with Mark of Sydney (who could have been my evil brother), Mistress Laura (who I want to adopt as my mom!) and Dom of Melbourne, and Gen of Brisbane (who’d make my bets gal-pal list any day).

I also got to pet a koala (and get crapped on by the said fur ball), body surf the Gold Coast, eat and drink loads of Auzzie food and beer, etc. The Sydney Harbor Bridge climb with Mark and Ken was fun. Yes, it’s touristy but it’s a Must-Do activity. Anyway. How many people can say that they had a CBT scene several hundred feet above the Sydney harbor?
Eagle leather rocked as my sponsor making sure that all the details were executed with precision and helping with continuing the education efforts. SAX/Lucrezia & De Sade made me this most amazing leather kimono clad Japanese bondage Barbie in a custom quilted leather case. My god, what craftsmanship! It’s reflected in so much of their work too. All stores above were totally hot.
Mark of DV8 House was really sweet and got me this hot red/black leather outfit from Marquis De Sade. I go to do a wicked as hell little on-stage show at the Hellfire club. I dragged this cute girl on stage by rope, treated her with delicious terror and then cut her clothes off and shaved her hair off with a clipper and straight razor. Oh and a bunch of us even go to have dinner with Tim Woodward of Skin Two who was in town after the first ever Australian Rubber Ball. With all the cars driving on the British side and having a cocktail or two with Tim, I started to wonder if I wasn’t in London. And then there was the huge finale show at the big fetish ball L’Erotica that the crew threw. I hope the photos are up soon.

After returning from Australia I entered a self-imposed period of a writer’s “house arrest.” I retreated from all communications except with the proofreaders who volunteered to work with me as I put the finishing touches on my next book. It’s a collection some of the best essays from the past 6 years and a few new pieces as well. It’s titled “Wild Side Sex: The Book of Kink” to be published by Daedalus Publishing. It’s the same kink publisher who’s brought us Fakir Musafar’s “Spirit + Flesh”. “Consensual Sadomasochism”, “Masters Manual” and “SlaveCraft.”
It’ll be officially released at the end of may at the vender fair of International Mr. Leather in Chicago. I’ll keep you posted when it’s available. (www.daedaluspublishing.com)

Speaking of books being available, many of you who’ve enjoyed my last book “Seductive Art of Japanese Bondage” have been wondering when my next book would be coming out. While it’s not a bondage book, per se, I do have a new book out that’s on one of my favorite topics. “Foot & Shoe Worship” is now out from Greenery Press, It’s a little book that’s part of their Toybag book series. In the book you’ll find out how to enjoy feet and shoes if you’re dominant, submissive, sadist, masochist or hedonist. I also have some great feet pampering formula too. The photos are all either taken by me, or are of my feet. I’m happy with this cute little book. As I travel I will always have a small stock of the book with me for sale.

Last weekend I went up for my second visit to Boise, Idaho’s Alternative Lifestyle Expo. Yes, Boise. Your eyes do not deceive you. Not all pervs live in kink central like NYC or SF. The Body Modification Art show was really cool! They had artwork such as sculptures and paintings inspired from body mod as well as live body mod performances. I got to teach some classes and made a sexy girl cry (in a good way) during a class on Military and Interrogation Play. The fetish stage show at the party on Sunday night would have been received with accolades just as much in San Francisco or New York. It had amazing costumes, opera singers, African drummers, top notch ballet dancers and live music making the show over-the top. Honestly, when I first went to Boise I didn’t expect to see what what I saw and didn’t think these jaded eyes could be impressed. Boy, was I wrong. I totally admit that I was wrong.

Oh, and I’m finally getting on the tribe.net bandwagon. It just takes me a while to get around to the cool things that all my friends know about, but I’ve always told you I’m a big dork. So I’m on tribe.net and there’s a “where’s Midori next” tribe there. If you tribe, then hope to see you there. I put some of my candid snap shots up too.

Oh and today was a big day too. I got to help bathe three cats. It’s one the most frightening things I’ve done in a while.

It’s just past midnight and I’ve not packed yet for my trip to Leather Leadership Conference so I’d better wrap this up.
