RECENT ADVENTURES & THOUGHTS

I hope that each of you are having a wonderful winter holiday season!
Where does the time go? I can’t believe it’s been two months since I last wrote to you, my dear readers.
Since I last wrote to you I have been spending a lot of time with my butt in an airplane seat.
I had a grand time in Copenhagen at KinkyCopenhagen. What an amazing event! It was a convergence of many different sexual communities in one place. . . The Tantra folks, the swingers, the BDSM folks, the fetishists, the merchants and the artists. It was really cool to get to hang out with fellow San Franciscan, perv photographer Charles Gatewood there too. Kind of funny, don’t you think, that it takes a trip across the world for me to hang with my Bay Area perv friends? I also met some really cool new friends and hung out with wickedly fun old kink buddies too!

Then I went to Boston where I chilled my heels with my usual Bean Town Buddies and taught classes. Kim Airs of Grand Opening Boutique and I have decided that next April we’ll run the full weekend intensive immersion of “Art of Feminine Dominance” in Boston. That’s exciting news for me as I love teaching that with Kim.

Other trips I took… I returned to Dallas for a multi hour suspension show at The Church at the Lizard Lounge.
The weekend of SouthWest Leather Conference and Master/slave Contest was remarkable. The emphasis was on spirituality. Although it was their first year, I believe this is going to be one of those “must-attend” leather events of a national scale.
The participants were seasoned and sincere leather folk. The play party was intense. The presentations and classes were really top notch and deep & rich in their content. My boy Khadan and I presented on Primal Play there, a class that I had retired for a couple of years as I did not have the right person, with the necessary connection at the heart and primal place, to co-present with. In this class I open myself deeply, both emotionally and psychologically, while taking physical risks right before the students. . . You could say it’s presenter edge play. . . so it’s very special to me.
SWLC was the right venue to go there for me. I really look forward to returning and re-connecting with the Master/slave community at SWLC. Mark the first weekend of December 2004 in your calendars!

December also marked my long awaited return to Los Angeles. We were totally debauched there. The private party that my hostesses in LA threw was simply carnal . . . and also very intelligent. You gotta love a party where at one side of the room a couple of naked women are entwined with a huge Hello Kitty vibrator while at the other side a familiar film face is in a deep discussion of the nature of Master/slave relationships and still at another corner is a director chatting about bondage clubs in Japan . . . I still managed to get enough rest to present a class on Rope to LARAWW and Humiliation to Pantheon West. (I’ll be returning to LA in January and May.)

I’ve also managed to carve out some family time and leather family time around Thanksgiving and Solstice/Christmas.

My inner child came out fully with the present opening. One of the coolest presents I received was Barbie as Catwoman. It’s not one of those ‘altered’ Barbies. It’s a full on authentic Barbie from Mattel. She’s in a Purple PVC cat suit, a hood, wicked looking grin, black shiny thigh high boots and, get this, a bull whip! She’s a total Fetish Babe! Remember that once in a while I run contests? Ok, here's one.
I have a collection of my essays coming out from Daedalus Publishing. These are the non-fiction articles on kink, fetish, SM, sex and pervy adventures that I've been writing for the last 5 years plus a few new chapters just for this book. Daedalus is the same fine publisher that delivers to you some of the essential SM education books such as “Consensual Sado Masochism” and “Leather Sex”.
We need a title.
This is where you, my dear readers, come in!
Here's what the publisher said about a title.
"As for the title: I loved the title of your Japanese bondage book. It was so specific and pleasurable at the same time. Being literal in the title helps willing book buyers find your book in a search- so anything with sex, sensual, dominant, SM, etc. would be great. And a sense of humor in the title is great as well. It would be great to show your wittiness in the title." *Please note that this is not a book on bondage like my last book although there will be some chapters on the pleasure and psychology of bondage.
Come up with a title that the publisher and I like, and most importantly helps to sell the book!
